7 Easy Steps To Get Started

Follow these five easy steps to get your Kundello account up and running in no time!

The essential steps to complete the set up are :

1. Install the Universal Code

2. Connect your site with Kundello via API - only if you would like to send after purchase review requests automatically

3. Choose, Customize and Install Widgets on your site - approx. setup time 2+ minutes + technical knowledge required

4. Customize your Profile Page - approx. setup time 2+ minutes

5. Customize your Email Review Request (or leave as it is) - approx. setup time 2+ minutes

6. Set up your Reply Email - approx. setup time 1+ minutes

7. Start sending Review Requests - 30 seconds+

Once you start getting reviews, go back to the chosen Widget page, and switch the chosen widget ON - to start showing reviews on your site.

1.Install the Universal Code

Please copy and paste the Universal Code right before the </head> tag.

Universal Code is available on every Widget page, and it only needs to be installed once. Not multiple times.

Here is an example of the section where you will find the Universal Code -  once you log in, the code will be inside the window.

2. Connect your site with Kundello via API - only if you would like to send after purchase review requests automatically

Go to Settings>>Automatic Review Requests - API Integration and follow the instructions. Copy and paste RESTful API - PHP cURL code on your website and set up "Time Delay" for Automatic Requests. 

3. Choose, Customize and Install Widgets on your site - approx. set up time 2+ minutes - technical knowledge required

Once you have installed the Universal code and have connected your site with Kundello via API, it's time to choose and customise the widgets you will add to your site

Where to find widgets?

Go to the WIDGETS tab in the main menu and click on any widget you wish to install. You will find the widget code that you need to install on your website and the widget customisation options.

	PLEASE NOTE: Customise and install the widget on your site, but KEEP THE WIDGET VISIBILITY DISABLED (click "No, disabled" button) as you don't want to show an empty widget on your site. Once you start getting reviews, go back to the widget page and switch the widget to live mode (click - "Yes, visible" button).

Do we recommend any widgets?

We recommend you start with either a SQUARE or OVAL badge or a FLOATING TAB.

These widgets sit discretely on your web page - either on the side of the screen (Floating Tab) or in the bottom corner of your page (Square and Oval Badge).

They are very visible, and they encourage your website visitor to click on them to read your reviews.

Once a visitor clicks on any of these widgets, the POPUP Window widget will open up, showcasing all your reviews and photos (if you have photos).

The default colour of the POP-UP window is Kundello "Blue" colour, but you can change it to any colour you like. Just enter the colour code and click on "Save Settings" button.

PLEASE NOTE: POP UP Window doesn't require any installation; it's automatically connected to the Square, Oval and Round Badge, the Floating Tab and the Carousel. 

Same as for all our other tools, the POPUP Window widget can be customized to match the brand colours of your site.

You can:

1. Change the Heading title (default is Customer Reviews)

2. Change the Heading colour (default is Blue)

3. Change the Header text colour (default is light)

4. Change Rating Stars Colour (default is gold/orange)

5. Show or Hide "Write a Review " button (visitors can click on that button to write you a review)

4. Customise your Profile Page - approx. setup time 2+ minutes

Where to find it? 

Click on Settings >> Profile Settings >> Profile Page

Why is this important?

Your profile page is a microsite that will host all your collected customer reviews online. It will be visible in search results and if someone was to Google your brand or your brand's reviews, this page would show up.

There are only a few things you need to do to get this page up and running:

1. Select Your Industry from the drop menu

2. Add your Logo

3. Add a Page Background Image - this could be a photo of yourself, your business, your store, office, etc.

4. Add a short description of your business in the "About Us Description" box.

5. CLICK on the "Save Settings" button and you are done!

5. Customise your Email Review Request (or leave as it is) - approx. setup time 2+ minutes

Where to find it?

For Business Reviews, go to Settings >> Business Review Settings >> Business Review - Primary Email Invite

For Product Reviews, go to Settings >> Product Review Settings >> Product Review - Primary Email Invite

Why is this important?

For both Business and Product reviews, the email review request is an email template that will be sent to your customers, asking them to leave a review.

You can use our DEFAULT review request templates, or you can customize them to reflect your brands' tone of voice.

To set up Business Review Requests and Reminders go to Settings>> Business Reviews - all options will be listed there

To set up Product Review Requests and Reminders go to Settings>> Product Reviews - all options will be listed there

6. Set up your Reply Email Address (1 minute)

Where to find it?

Go to Settings >> Automation and General Settings >> Reply Email Settings

Why is it important to set up a Reply Email Address?

If your customer decides to reply to your review request email, their email reply will be automatically forwarded to you.

7. Start sending Review Requests (1+ minutes)

Once you have the above tasks done, you are ready to start asking your customers for reviews:

Option 1: Automatic Review Requests - If you have completed STEP 2 above - you have connected your website and Kundello via API to send automatic review requests, you don't have to do anything else. Kundello will send the review requests automatically to your customers at your specified time intervals.

Option 2: Manual Review Requests - Ask your past customers for a review today. This is a great way to get reviews quickly. You can manually send a Single Review Request, or you can make a list of your previous customers, upload the list to the Kundello platform and send multiple review requests at once. You can find both sending options conveniently located under the "SEND INVITES" button.

Here is an example:

Click on the "Send Invites" button at the top of the Main Menu, and you will see both sending options there.

To Recap:

1. Automatic Review Requests will only work for your future customers.

2. Single Review Requests - you can instantly send a targeted review request to a single customer

3. Multiple Review Requests - you can instantly send targeted review requests to a group of customers.
