5 Steps To Get Started

Unsure of where to start? Follow these five easy steps, and you'll get your Kundello account up and running in no time!

The five essential steps you should complete are :

1. Choose, Customize and Install Widgets on your site (5+ minutes - technical knowledge required)

2. Create your Profile Page (5+ minutes)

3. Create your Email Review Request (5+ minutes)

4. Set up your Reply Email (1 minute)

5. Start sending Review Requests (1+ minutes)

Once you start getting reviews, go back to the chosen Widget page, and switch the chosen tool ON - to start showing reviews on your site.

1. Choose, Customize and Install Widgets on your site (approx. set up time 5+ minutes - technical knowledge required)

Where to find it?

Go to the WIDGETS tab in the main menu and click on any widget you wish to install.

	PLEASE NOTE: Customise and install the widget on your site, but KEEP THE WIDGET VISIBILITY DISABLED (click "No, disabled" button) as you don't want to be showing an empty widget. Once you start getting reviews, go back to the widget page and switch it on to enable it (click - "Yes, visible" button).

A great selection of marketing tools is available for you to customize and install on your site.

We recommend you start with either a SQUARE, OVAL or ROUND BADGE, or a FLOATING TAB.

These widgets sit discretely on your web page, on either side of the screen (Floating Tab) or in the bottom corner of your page (Square, Round and Oval Badge).

They are very visible, and they encourage your website visitor to click on them to read your reviews.

Once a visitor clicks on any of these widgets, the POP-UP WINDOW will open up, showcasing all your reviews and photos (if you have photos).

The default colour of the POP-UP window is our Kundello "Blue" colour, but you can change it to any colour you like. Just enter the colour code and click on "Save Settings" button.

To install our widgets on your website, you will need coding knowledge or someone who can do this for you. The installation itself is quick; it shouldn't take you more than a couple of minutes to do.

POP UP Window doesn't require any installation; it's automatically connected to the Square, Oval and Round Badge, and the Floating Tab as well. 

Same as for all our other tools, POP UP Window can be customized to match the brand colours of your site.

You can:

1. Change the Heading title (default is Customer Reviews)

2. Change the Heading colour (default is Blue)

3. Change the Header text colour (default is light)

4. Change Rating Stars Colour (default is gold/orange)

5. Show or Hide "Write a Review " button (visitors can click on that button to write you a review)

2. Create your Profile Page - approx. setup time 5+ minutes

Where to find it? 

Click on Settings >> Profile Settings >> Profile Page

Why is this important?

Your profile page will host all your collected customer reviews, and it will be visible in search results - if someone was to Google your brand or your brand's reviews, this page will show up.

There are only a few things you need to do to get this page up and running:

1. Select Your Industry from the drop menu

2. Add your Logo

3. Add a Page Background Image - this could be a photo of yourself, your business, your store, office, etc.

4. Add a short description of your business in the "About Us Description" box.

5. CLICK on the "Save Settings" button and you are done!

3. Create your Email Review Requests - approx. setup time 5+ minutes

Where to find it?

For Business Reviews go to Settings >> Business Review Settings >> Business Review - Primary Email Invite

For Product Reviews go to Settings >> Product Review Settings >> Product Review - Primary Email Invite

Why is this important?

The email request (for both Business and Product) is an email template that will be sent to your customers, asking them to leave a review.

You can use our DEFAULT template, or you can create your own.

4. Set up your Reply Email Address (1 minute)

Where to find it?

Go to Settings >> General Settings >> Reply Email Settings

Why is this important?

When you enter your Business/Customer Support email address, if your customer decides to reply to your review request email, their email communication will be automatically forwarded to you.

5. Sending Review Requests (1+ minutes)

Once you have the above tasks done, you are ready to start asking for reviews:

IF YOU SELL PRODUCT OR SERVICES ONLINE

1. To Automate Reviews, you need to install the code on your checkout page so you can catch all your current sales. You can find this code under Settings >> General Settings >> Automatic Invites - API Integration

2. You should also ask your past customers for a review. This is a great way to gets revies quickly. You can send a Single Review Invite by clicking on a "SEND INVITES" button, or you can make a list of previous customers, upload it to our platform and send multiple review invites at once - also under SEND INVITES button, just choose Multiple Invites option. 

IF YOU DON'T SELL PRODUCT OR SERVICES

1. Great way to get started is by asking your past customers for a review. You can send a Single Review Invite by clicking on a "SEND INVITES" button, or you can make a list of previous customers, upload it to our platform and send multiple review invites at once - also under SEND INVITES button, just choose Multiple Invites option.

2. After that, you can send single review invites as you see fit, or again group them in a batch and send them once a week or a month. However, we recommend sending review invites as soon as possible.

You will find these two options by clicking on a Send Invites button, at the top of the main menu:

To Recap:

1. Automatic Review Requests will only work for your future customers. For automatic invites to be sent you will need to insert a short snippet of code into your site. Please see the "comprehensive guide to review requests" for a complete explanation of how Automatic Review Requests work.

2. Single Review Requests - send targeted review requests to a single customer.

3. Multiple Review Requests - send targeted review requests to a group of customers.
