Product Review - Setting up product review reminders

This guide will help you set up Review Reminders for Product Reviews.

To set up review reminders you need to complete two steps:

Step 1. Choose how many product review reminders you want to send

Step 2. Set up the product review reminder emails

What are the product review reminders?

Product Review reminders are emails that Kundello automatically sends to your customers if they don't leave a product review following the original Product Review Email Request.

However, if the customer leaves a product review after the 1st Product Review Reminder, the 2nd Product Review Reminder will be automatically cancelled.

If you want to send Product Review Reminders, you will need to turn them ON, because as per default, product review reminders are turned OFF.

Here's how to set this up:

Step 1. Choose how many product review reminders you want to send

PLEASE NOTE: We ONLY recommend one product review reminder to be sent to your customer, as some customers might find them annoying.

Go to Settings >> Product Review Settings >> Product Review Reminder Settings

To start sending reminders, untick the "Don't send reminders" option.

Chose how many review reminders you would like to send

Select the timeframe for each of the product review reminders (in the example below, we have used a scenario as if we are to send two 2 product review reminders):

Click on SAVE SETTINGS and you are done!

As per the above example, we have decided to send the 1st Product Review Reminder 3 days after the "Original Product Review Request" and the 2nd Product Review Reminder 3 days after the 1st Product Review Reminder.

However, if the customer leaves a review after the 1st Product Review Reminder, the 2nd Product Review Reminder will be automatically cancelled.

Step 2. Set up the product review reminder emails

Depending on how many product review reminders you have decided to send, you might need to set up one or two product review reminder emails. To make things easy for you, Kundello has created DEFAULT email templates that are automatically ready for you to start sending. If you like these templates, just leave them, otherwise, you can create your own email text.

To set up the first product reminder go to Settings >> Product Review Settings >> Product Review - Reminder 1

To set up the second product reminder go to Settings >> Product Review Settings >> Product Review - Reminder 2

On the left-hand side, you have email settings, and the default email text is shown automatically:

If you would like to change the default text, click on the Custom Text option, erase the current text, and enter your own:

Click on SAVE SETTINGS and you are done (follow the same procedure for both Review Reminder 1 and Review Reminder 2).

After you are done with a product review reminder email setup, click on SEND TEST EMAIL button to send a test email to yourself.  This is to be sure that email your customers will receive looks great!
